Kate is essentially ‘The Boss’ she will be the one sticking her nose in and getting in everyone’s business. She will also be your go to with any discipline, integrity, or safeguarding queries.

Master of the Whistle

Jonny is our lead for referee deployment and development, including referee appointments. He will be the main contact for all referee appointment queries. He also manages the BNW shop.

Jade is our lead for women and girls development and also works with Jonny to develop referees and provide specific support packages and opportunities for all of our female referees.

Scoreboard Sorceress

Zoe is our lead table official. She oversees table officials at Manchester Magic/Mystics and is backed by a small group of senior table officials in providing support and development for Table Officials across the North West. She is also our DBS verifier.

The Admin Avenger

Vogue is essentially Kate’s PA and makes sure absolutely everything and everyone is organised. Anything to do with licensing, eligibility criteria, Who’sTheRef, PlayHQ, safeguarding training, courses, availability, fixture confirmations and everything else in between – Vogue is on it!

The League Legend

Phil’s got a real passion for making basketball happen. As an experienced coach and official, he knows the game inside out—and he’s the one keeping things ticking behind the scenes. From league fixtures to big event days, Phil oversees the operations of Basketball North West’s leagues and competitions, making sure everything runs smoothly and feels great for players, coaches, and volunteers alike.
