3x3 Refereeing

Firstly, I'd like to thank you for all your hard work throughout what has been a highly successful 24-25 season for Basketball North West - we wouldn't have been able to do it without you!

Now, with the 5v5 season behind us, we are well and truly into 3x3 mode.

Our 3x3 Fest starts on Saturday 7th June with tournaments running every weekend, the last being on Sunday 20th July, with venues in Manchester and Liverpool. (Manchester Basketball Centre, National Basketball Performance Centre and FireFit, Toxteth)

Each event will be its own mini-tournament for either girls or boys with teams playing in age groups u12s through to u18s.

Appointments for the 3x3 Fest will be done through WTR, with court allocations being managed on the day at the venue.

Each event will require 15 referees, with two 2 referees on each game.

The fee for all events will be £15 per hour. (no travel expenses)

There will also be lots other opportunities to referee 3x3 throughout the summer, which we will keep you posted on.

If you would like to officiate 3x3 over the summer in the Nort West, please can you update your availability on WTR for May, June, July and August.

Priority will be given to those referees who have completed the Basketball England Level 1 3x3 Referee Award Certificate or FIBA 3x3 Officiating Basics Webinar Certificate - please email your certificate to jonny.vickerstaff@basketballnorthwest.org.uk.
